I don't have a
Bible |
TOP |
| If you don't have a Bible, you
can buy one from your local Christian bookshop or if you
regularly attend the Sunday Clubs at Albury, we can lend
you one.
There are also online
Bibles -

There are lots of
different versions of the Bible, If you are not
sure which translation to buy, ask the shop or
someone from a local church. I would recommend
one of the following:
- The Youth Bible
- The Message
- The NIV (New
International Version)

Free Bible notes
|
TOP |
| I you want to find out more
about the Bible, or want to start reading it every day,
you can use daily Bible reading notes. These give you a
bit to read each day and usually some comments and
questions to help you understand what you have read.
You can get Bible notes from all
Christian Bookshops or from most Churches. We recommend Topz, YP's or Breakfast with God. These three are all
designed for young people - choose the age that suits
you!

How the Bible
works |
TOP |
| Most Bibles
are laid out in the same way. Normally they
both the Old and the New Testaments. There is a
list of the books in the front of the Bible.
Most references to passages in the Bible are
written in the same way.
eg: Mark 8 1-2 or
Mark 8:1-2 or Mark 8 v1,2
Below is a typical
extract from the Bible.

|
Mark 8 |
Is the 'Book'
and the 'Chapter' |
|
8 |
Is where the
'Chapter' starts |
|
2 |
The small 2 is
where the 'Verse' starts. |
